As the title says: google-chrome index.php downloads the file immediately In my case it is chromium-browser instead of google-chrome . When I try to visit index.php using chrome (11.0.696.57, not Chromium), it tries to download the file. When I visit test.php using Chrome,  The "Open file" dialog works, so I can actually select files for upload. out what is causing that Save File kdialog doesn't work with Chromium. Oh and naturally I have latest versions of all that just Arch LInux offers. But now when I try to save a file in Chromium, the bottom download bar pop-up and say  15 Aug 2017 I have up to date Ubuntu 17.04.
